WAHOOOOOOO!

Finally I can post this!!! I made the design team for a new website called Simply Obsessed!!! This is so exciting for me. You all need to go and check them out. They are still in the process of building the site, but, soon the gallery will be up and running and you can check out everyone's creations.

I tried to get this one on here last night, but, the scanner just wasn't doing it justice. I had to wait for the natural daylight to arrive this morning to reshoot it. Hopefully this will look better.

New ones!

I've been working on some new layouts for a couple of design teams that I wanted to apply to. The one of myself was an application requirement...a page about me...ugh...difficult! The other interesting one is the one of my oldest son Jayden, the requirement this time was to use a non-traditional scrapbook supply. In my quest to find something I stumbled upon three, not sure which one I would end up using. Well in the end I used all three on the same page. The first item was the curtain hook, the second is the silver netting that somehow is meant to be used with your clothes dryer...it was stitched on one end and was tubular like a sock, and the third is the silver wheel shaped item...it was a Starbucks brochure for the yearly bridge pedal bike ride here in Portland and I heat embossed it to look like metal. Cool huh?!

Here's a second one that I finished last week at the cabin...I just had to put a few last touches on it. As you can see the folder opens up to reveal some additional photos that are accordian stacked together. My oldest and youngest sons birthdays are one day apart and these photos were taken during their party, it was so cute watching her attempt to put her foot in her big brother's rain boots!

We spent the last week at the cabin...here is a layout and an anniversary card that I made for my husband as we just celebrated our 14th this last Tuesday...thanks Mom for watching the kids so that we could spend the evening out celebrating in Bend!
