Welcome Bunny Hoppers!!!!!

It's that time of the month again....which means it must be time for all Bo Bunny fans to try and figure out who our guest designer for the month of May will be.

First, I have a brand new layout to share with all of you today. This one features the new Jazmyne line, one of my favorites. You see, I LOVE purple. I know so many people say that they have a very difficult time scrapping with it. Not I. I adore it and absolutely LOVE this photo and these papers together!

Now it's time for your hint as to who will be our next guest designer...

This person has the most adorable dog named Maggie.

Do you know who it is yet? Well, head to Christine's blog for your next clue, you can find her blog...

Welcome PTI blog hoppers...

It's that time of the month again. After having to miss last month due to a family vacation, I am excited to be back at it and joining in on the fun this month. So, without further ado....

The challenge this month was to use tissue paper in some way, shape, or form on your project. I decided to stamp mine with Background Basics Dots and then cut them out with the medium scallop die and used them as ruffles on the bottom of my card.

All supplies from Papertrey Ink.
Stamps: Distressed Stripes
         Enjoy the Ride
   Heart Prints
Ink Colors: Hawaiian Shores
               Raspberry Fizz
          Orange Zest
*oops, the green ink is Shabby Shutters from Ranger

I look forward to seeing what the rest of you came up with! Enjoy!

April kit from A Million Memories

This kit was pure loveliness. The papers yummy. Michelle really does do a great job of putting these kits together every month. Here are my creations....you'll see I went a little card crazy! :)

I didn't include any close ups this time since I had so many projects to show you and wanted to keep the number of photos to a minimum, remember you can click on each photo to see it bigger.

Also, one more thing. Michelle just posted a Design Team Call at A Million Memories. If you are interested check it out here...

Paradise and a new winner....

First up, a layout using the new Paradise line from Bo Bunny. This line is so vibrant and pretty. It is also very "beachy", I was able to take the beach out of it and use it for a summertime swim layout and I love how it worked! This layout was inspired by an ad that I saw in the Sunset magazine. I always forget to look at ads and after completing this assignment I definitely thought I need to do this more!

Here is the ad...

and the layout...

I hand cut all of the water droplets and then popped some of them up with 3-D tape and then added some Glossy Accents to make some of them look wet.

Lastly, the winner from the Bo Bunny blog hop for the embellishments below still hasn't claimed their prize and it has been six days, so I'm moving on to another winner and it is....

Spring time and a winner!

I hope you had a glorious time celebrating Easter with your families. Ours was cold, windy and snowy. Every year we head over to our cabin in Central Oregon. We've never had such a cold Easter and never snow! I missed my parents terribly though, they have never not been with us at Easter and this year they opted to stay in Arizona....hmmm, they always say Momma knows best! More often than not we have sun and we all come home with a sunburn, ha, not this year! Much fun was had regardless.

Well, on to business. I'll start with this wall hanging I did using the XL bird shapes from Clear Scraps. They sell them in both a chipboard and an acrylic set. This is the chipboard set. I used some new October Afternoon papers with it. Free handed the birds' wings covered them with buttons and popped them up with pop dots. connected them with jump rings and Heidi Swapp crystals. Added the welcome spring banner and it was done!

Next a quick and simple Thank you card using the Bo Bunny Sophie line.

Lastly, using Random.org I chose a winner from the Bo Bunny bunny hop on last Friday and the winner is...

Welcome Bunny Hoppers!!!!!

I just love it when we do these! The reason for this hop has me super excited! Bo bunny is now going to be using a new guest designer every month...how cool is that. By the time you all have worked your way through the hop you will find out who our new guest designer will be for the month of April.

First, a few little cards to share with you. I used the new Flower Power line for these. Such happy, bright and cheerful colors. My cards don't really show it, but it has a fun hippy vibe to it too. However, my goal here was to show you all that you it is so versatile and can easily be used without going in that direction.

All products used on these are from the Flower Power line except the buttons are from my own stash. Even the cute little hello stamp.

On this one I cut the stars with my Spellbinder dies and then used a Papertrey Ink impression plate on the large striped star and then sanded the raised areas.

On this one I used the backside of the new turquoise double dot paper and ran it through the Impression plate again to get those debossed areas and sanded the raised areas as well. Placed the Papertrey Ink flower dies where I wanted the flowers to be cut and ran it through my Cuttlebug. When I attached that piece of paper on top of the striped paper I used pop dots to raise it up a bit.

This one used the flowers that I die cut out of the paper above.

A GIVE AWAY!!!! Those of you that leave a comment will be eligible to receive a sheet of adhesive embellishments hand made by me. They will be just like the flowers and stars used above so that you could make your own similar cards or they would look great on a layout! Here is a photo of them. Sorry for the poor lighting on it...late at night when I took the pic.

Next your clue......our April guest designer's daughter's favorite game to play is Mancala....do any of you know who it is?

Now on to Patti's blog for your next stop on the hop and another clue!!!!
