You & me

Happy Monday everyone! Hope your week is off to a good start! Today I have this card to share with you…

The following sketch was the inspiration for this.

One of the perks of designing for My Mind's Eye is that I have plenty of enamel dots in my crafty arsenal. I chose to put those little guys to use for the stripes.

Supplies:
Paper: My Mind's Eye " Just Sayin' "
Enamel Dots: My Mind's Eye: The Sweetest Thing
Glitter Alpha: My Mind's Eye " Just Sayin' "

Thanks for stopping by today to take a peek!

Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

It's that time of month again for the Papertrey Ink blog hop…

The inspiration photo for this month is this one, which I am digging as these colors are definitely within my go to list of color schemes.

I opted to go with Autumn Rose, Simply Chartreuse, Smoky Shadow, and a hint of Enchanted Evening  for my color scheme. I used the Twist Die cover plate to tie in the design of the bucket.

Supplies:

Papertrey Ink

Stamps: Note Niblets
Dies: Note Niblets, Twist cover plate, Celebration Frame
Papers: Enchanted Evening, Simply Chartreuse, Sweet Blush
Inks: Autumn Rose, Simply Chartreuse, Smoky Shadow

Thanks for taking a peek!

Muse

Today I have a card to share with you that was made for the latest Muse challenge (#84). This first card is the card that is the inspiration piece for this challenge…

(card by Therese Calvird)

I opted to stick with the butterfly image and the mosaic.

I started with a white piece of watercolor watercolor paper then added the wash and the paint blotches. Next  I stamped and heat embossed the butterflies, then painted in the wings.

Supplies:
Stamps- Papertrey Ink (Life is Beautiful)
Dies- Papertrey Ink (Quatrafoile Cover Plate)

Happy

Happy Wednesday! Today I have a card to share with you that is based on the latest sketch from CAS(e) this Sketch…

I chose to turn and flip the sketch so that could incorporate some leftover items that have been sitting on my desk for way too long.

The backing behind the cut out 'happy' is a little watercolor piece that I wasn't real happy with how it turned out, looks great when you can't see much of it!

Supplies:
Paper- My Mind's Eye (Jubilee-Mint Julep)
Alpha Stickers- My Mind's Eye (Necessities-teal)
Enamel Dots- My Mind's Eye (Jubilee-Mint Julep)
Dies- Papertrey Ink (Seeing Stars, One liners-Happy)
Glitter- Martha Stewart

Thanks for stopping by today!

Sparkle and Shine

For those of you that are familiar with my work you know that I LOVE me some glitter! So when the My Mind's Eye design team was asked to do a glitter challenge I immediately raised my hand for this assignment.

One of the great things about MME products is that they make quite a few that can give you the glitter experience without all of the mess. Me? I don't mind how little specks of sparkle stick to you and make a big mess, but I know that many of you can not stand glitter for that very reason. Enter MME with alphabets, paper, tape, chipboard, enamel dots, enamel shapes, and die cuts that all come with glitter already on them. The kind of glitter that doesn't flake off. Makes it all easy and CLEAN!

I was assigned to make a card with glitter, ended up making two. Check them out…

For this first card I used the glitter tapes that came in the metallic and teal Necessities line, as well as the glitter alphabet and chipboard from the new Just Sayin' line.

For this second card the glitter comes in to play on the alphabet, the believe tag from the decorative brads and the die cut heart from the mixed bag. All of which are also from the Just Sayin' line.

Hope you all have a happy weekend!
