New Releases for Clear Scraps

Yep, you read it right. I can reveal some new releases from Clear Scraps. They are at CHA right now hopefully selling everything off of the shelves right now! Tonight I have the new Gingerbread banner to show you. It really is the cutest thing! I used one of my favorite holiday lines from Collage Press on this, the line is called Joyland and it was a perfect fit for this banner. Unfortunately banners are the most difficult things to photograph. Make sure to check out the individual pics to get an idea of just how cute this turned out!

The house is my favorite piece. Do you see that cute little girl peeking out of the window?

The snowflake shapes make me swoon...see I have a thing for snowflakes!

And then the two different gingerbread men that I did, there are two of each of these.

Stay tuned for more! Thanks for stopping by today!

Papertrey Ink Blog Hop

It's that time of the month again. This month the theme was office supplies. I'm not at home right now, so I was a little challenged to find something to use. I was able to find a stapler...so, staples it was.

Love the "Just the ticket" stamps!!! I didn't get the PTI ticket die because I already had the Tim Holtz one and it worked pretty good, might be a tad bigger. I also am in love with PTI felt, it is luxurious!

Here's another card I made with PTI stuff. Thought I would go ahead and post it since it will mostly fellow PTI'ers who will peeking at this post!

We've had a really hot day here in Central Oregon, so we spent it out on the water...heaven!

July kit from A Million Memories

This kit was packed with some of the cutest items! Some great day of the week cards and starburst numbers tags from Elle's Studio, papers from October Afternoon and My Mind's Eye, chipboard and flowers from Maya Road and a sticker sheet from the new Echo Park.  I hope to make a few more cards with it before I clean up my desk.

The photo for this layout was taken last week on my mom's birthday (her 66th...shhh) doesn't she look fabulous?!!!

Yoshi, such a bad dog (although he has good days too!), I found him demolishing a feather boa of my daughter's. Needless to say there were feathers EVERYWHERE!

Glad I had taken these next photos. My daughter had fallen asleep one afternoon on her bed and I snuck in and took these pics, when she woke up and I asked her how her nap was she insisted that she had not been asleep. She was adamant...until I showed her the photos!

This card was based on the latest sketch over at the CPS blog.

Hope you all have a great weekend. It's going to be hot here the next couple of days. We'll be heading back to the cabin to hang out on the water and hopefully stay cool.

Sharing some Bo Bunny

Sadly, my term with Bo Bunny is almost over. I finished my last assignment for them last week. So, I thought I would share some of my latest creations with you.

This first one was an assignment to do a layout based on a television or movie. Can you guess which show I chose...I think it's pretty obvious :). I always knew having this many kids would come in handy for something! ;)

How has summer been treating all of you? We have been busy, spending lots of time at the cabin. I'm always amazed at how quick the months seem to just fly! I'll be back soon, have some brand new CHA releases from Clear Scraps to share with you!

A Million Memories Blog Hop

Welcome to the A Million Memories blog hop! The hop starts today, Friday July 2 and runs through Sunday July 4. Each blog will be showcasing a different project inspired by summer and all of it's glory! Hop through each blog to check out the instructions for creating each project, then choose a project to re-create. Post your project in the AMM gallery and in this thread. You will have until Friday July 9th at midnight to post your project to be eligible to win the Echo Park Collection Pack. More than one project created earns you another chance in the random drawing. Please be sure that projects are created especially for this contest. Good luck!

For my tutorial I will be giving you instructions on how to make these loopy 3 dimensional flowers.

Step 1) Cut 5 strips of double sided paper that measure 1/4"x 5".

(these are all the same paper, I am just showing the two sides)

Step 2) Make a loop and bring the ends almost together, leaving a little tag on one of the ends that can be folded over.

Step 3) Glue the both ends down and continue to do the same to the four remaining pieces.

Step 4) Adhere all five pieces to a piece of coordinating paper.

Step 5) Trim all 5 petals out.

Step 6) Arrange on card or layout to make a flower. My plan was originally to make a full flower, however 5 petals just wasn't enough and looked too sparse. So, I opted to make a flower "bud".
In other words, you'll need more petals for a full in bloom circular flower...I would suggest 9-10.

Just a note, all papers and the sentiment sticker that were used on this card are from the collection pack you could be eligible to win if you participate. Thank you to Echo Park. Love this new company!
