Lunch Bag Tags

While working with some Clear Scraps earlier this week, I came up with this great idea! Re-usable tags that have a cute little pocket for a cute little card. I know my daughter will love these. I can just see her eyes light up when she spots this in her lunch box. The best part is that since they are made from an acrylic tag base they are sturdy. The cards for the pocket are tiny, which makes it easy peasy to make a lot of them for future uses!

I started with the two large tags from the Clear Scraps Scalloped Tags (you also get two smaller tags in the package...BONUS!). Then used some Cosmo Cricket papers and embellishments to finish it up. The die that I used to cut the little pockets with came from Papertrey Ink.

Finished them off with a paint pen around the edges and some ribbon, buttons, and baker's twine.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by today!

September A Million Memories kit

Here are my projects that I made using the September kit from A Million Memories. This kit had some new Cosmo Cricket and Sassafrass items as well as some Echo Park papers. I really loved how they all went together.

Let me tell you those marshmallow shooters are the best! Those little marshmallows just go flying!

and a couple of simple cards...

Hope you have all had a great weekend. Thanks for taking the time to stop and take a peek!

Scrappin' for me.

One thing that is REALLY nice about being down to two design teams is that I have had quite a bit of time freed up, and with that extra time I'm able to do some scrapping for me. It's nice to have some time to do what I want to do and use the products that I have purchased. Don't take that the wrong way, I have loved the products from the manufacturers that I was designing for. I only apply for companies whose product I REALLY and TRULY love. But the assignments can be daunting and at times restricting. Plus it is oh so nice to mix products from different companies!

While attending CHA last February I ran across the Devonshire line by Kaisercraft. Loved it at first sight! I found some a couple of months ago at my LSS. About three weeks ago I finally had some time to sit down and give it a little attention....

Chipboard butterflies are from Maya Road, Punches are from Martha Stewart, bling is from Prima, mists from Tattered Angels.

I also made a few cards. These be put up in my Etsy shop soon, link on the right!

Stamps and brown label die are from Papertrey Ink. Paper doily, birds on a wire punch and twine from Martha Stewart.

Thanks for stopping by. :)

The last....

Just sharing the last of my projects from my term with Bo Bunny.

Up first is a summer themed layout.

A two pager, it has been a long time since I have done one of these! On this one I cut some circles out of a transparency and then sewed them on to look like real bubbles.

and lastly a birthday card with some handmade flowers and lots of die cut scallops!

Off to enjoy the last bit of the long holiday weekend with my kiddos.

Lucky me!

Every month My Mind's Eye has a sketch contest. Those of you that know me, know that I love their products. I hoard them. Their papers are right up my alley! So, this last month I pulled out some of my newer MME papers from their So Sophie line and an XL Clear Scraps Scallop shape and went to town using their August sketch. Well, guess what?! I won! Woohoo!

This first picture I took with a white background behind the layout because it shows off the Tattered Angels glimmer mist that I sprayed on the back.

I took this photo with a dark background because it shows off the Zig painty pen work around the edge of the acrylic.

and then some close ups...

The blue flowers were cut out of felt (both the flower die and the felt are from Papertrey Ink) and then I sewed little seed beads to the centers of them. The bingo card is an embellishment from MME and I applied the buttons and the heart and then used B-4 in my title to incorporate the bingo theme.

Thanks for stopping by today. I'll make sure to share my future projects that I make with my goodies that I'll soon be getting from MME!
