A small break

From assignments that is. I've been busy working on some manufacturer assignments and needed a break. Did some layouts this last just for fun. Used the June kit from Studio Calico.

This first one involved a lot of glimmer mist. It also has something I don't do very often...journaling.

This next one is of my daughter. I was out in the backyard planting some flowers and she came out barefooted. I sent her back in the house to get some shoes on, thinking that she would come back out in her Crocs. No, he choice of shoes were her green plastic 2" dress up heels. So not what I had in mind...but so adorable. She is such a girly girl and I'll be darned she strutted all throught the dirt and grass with those on!

This is just using some of my favorite photos of my daughter and a line from a Leann Womack song that has such a great message. Something I wish for all of my children.

Lastly, a family layout another rarity...never any photos with all of us in them. So, I got creative!

Back to a very masculineClear Scraps album that I am working on. I should be able to show it off soon, but have to keep it under wraps until I get the okay to show off the new product for CHA. What is so great about this particular album is that there are a lot of great products out on the market that work fabulously with this. Kind of a rarity for those of us that have boys to scrap!

A card and some sheers

This first picture is a card that I made using the sketch from the CPS blog using sketch #119. I've been hoarding this Urban Prairie paper from Basic Grey...I absolutely love the colors in it. Used a Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder on the pink background paper.

These layouts were made using the KI Memories Sheers. I have had some of these in my own stash and hadn't used them, then A Million Memories sent me some more to work with...LLLOOOOOVVVEEEE them.

Oofta...tomorrow is the last day of school for the boys. Kind of bittersweet. I have a serious love/hate relationship with them being home all day every day, especially now that my oldest has really started picking on his younger sibs. May make for a long summer!
