Girls having fun

Earlier this year My Mind's Eye was contacted by a Russian Scrapbooking magazine asking if some of their designers would make some projects to be published in an upcoming issue. Here is the layout that I made...

Some friends and I took a quick little trip to Las Vegas, such fun!

Cut the 'girls' out with my Sihouette and glittered it up.

I adore that decorative tape, chevrons in a great color scheme!

All products are from the Find Your Wings and Fly  "Sky's the Limit" collection by My Mind's Eye.

Dreams Do Come True

A little over twenty years ago I married my high school sweetheart. I'm loving the life we have built together. Today I have a layout I made featuring a photo from our 20th anniversary. Used the new Simple Stories SN@P! Love Card Set for this one.

This SN@P! cut card that has 'Dreams do come true' die cut out of it was originally a beige color and since I wanted it to be black I simply sprayed with a black mist (Mr. Huey's Atmosphere). it worked awesome and held it's shape great without any warping.

The above glitter banner was made using Scor-Tape.

Some of the hearts that are floating out of the pocket are stickers from the sticker pack and the rest of them were made using some wafer thin metal dies from Papertrey Ink.

These new SN@P! Card sets are so versatile, great for layouts, cards, or Project Life type documenting.

Fall is in the air

Not sure about where you all are, but here in the Pacific Northwest fall has definitely made it's appearance. The air is chillier, the leaves are beautiful with their colors, and the rain has made itself known again.

Today I have a trio of cards to share with you These were all made for My Mind's Eye using a variety of collections. They haven't had a fall themed collection in a while, so for this assignment I had to pull pieces from some different collections. I love doing this!

This first one was made using primarily Indie Chic (paper and button), used my Scor Tape for the stripes of glitter, the wood frame is from Studio Calico, and the rest is from Papertrey Ink (felt, die, and that gorgeous script stamp).

For this next one I put my Silhouette and lots of MME decorative tape to use.

This next uses Indie Chic again. I die cut two leaves out of the paper and backed the negative space with contrasting paper, then I cut a third leaf out of felt and adhered the positive piece to the front of my card. 'Falling' was cut with my Silhouette.

Happy fall to you all!!!
