Clear Scraps...let the show begin

I'm steadily working away on the heavy box of Clear Scraps product that came my way. Here is the first of many projects for the next few weeks. This little mini was made from a new line called Chip 'n' Clear. Which means that it is part clear acrylic and part chipboard. You get a sheet of clear acrylic that is cut into many different shapes and a coordinating sheet of different shapes of chipboard. Both sheets are 12x12. One thing that I absolutely love about the chipboard is that it has a "burned" edge where the laser cut it...it really looks like it is pre-distressed with a chocolate brown ink for you. So, if you want to leave it bare it has a great look to it! Not to mention the aroma of burnt chipboard, which oddly I have found rather enticing. :)

I only used roughly half of the elements included with this...which means I will be able to make another little mini...2 for 1, love that idea! The first two pics are what the album looks like prior to dismanting it. Just so you get an idea of what you are getting....
This first sheet is the acryic sheet. It doesn't look clear here because the chipboard sheet is behind it and because it has protective layers of film on both sides that you need to peel off prior to using it.
For this album I chose to use the clear cover and back and chipboard pieces for the inner pages. I then randomly used chipboard and acrylic flower embellies.
This adorable vintage fairy dress that Natasha is wearing in these photos are from one of my Mom's dearest friends who gave this to her when she was born. She loves to dress up now and it fits her perfectly and she adores wearing it. So, thank you Paula the size ended up being just right!!!!
