Retro Sketches #176

Happy Wednesday all. Today I have a card to share with you that is based upon the Retro Sketch Challenge #176.

This card started with running a panel of white cardstock through an embossing folder. I bought a couple of those Next Level embossing folders from We R Memory Keepers. Let me tell you those folders are amazing!!! They give an almost 3D effect. In the next photo you can see the embossing detail up close. After embossing the paper I then colored in the flowers with some Zig Clean Color brushes. The focal image was first stamped with Antique Lined Distress Ink and then colored in with Zig Clean Color pens. I then did a little black pen detail work with a fine tip pen. It's difficult to see, but the butterfly and the center of the petals have a little shimmer to them thanks to a Wink of Stella pen.

Isn't that embossing detail awesome?!

Here is the sketch that this card was based on...

Products:
Stamps: Altenew (Wild Hibiscus, Painted Butterflies)
Markers (ZIG Clean Color)

Embossing Folder: We R Memory Keepers (Next Level: Bouquet)

Thanks for stopping by today!

Um, YES! The embossing detail is phenomenal! I just love this - totally looks like purchased patterned paper!!! I wonder how long this took you. Your work with the Zig markers is truly inspiring and makes me want to get some. Will have to look into these folders and also rethink the folders I have and coloring... hmm... got me thinking - thanks!
